Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or ask Good Form Riverview Concrete Company for an estimate or for concrete work. By using the site or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Before we do a job, we give you a written estimate or contract for it. If that document says something different from this page, the document for your job controls.

What we do

Good Form Riverview Concrete Company is a concrete contractor in Riverview, FL. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and other concrete work in Riverview and the cities around it. You'll find our services on the home page and more about our crew on our About page.

What this site says about concrete work is general information about how a job usually goes. It isn't a promise about your job, because every property is different, and some things, like the condition of the subgrade, which is the ground the slab sits on, only show once the old concrete is out.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free, we give them at your property, and there's no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size and thickness of the slab, the finish you choose, access for our trucks and the condition of the base.

An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material prices may have changed, so we may need to update it before we schedule the work.

If we find something once work starts that nobody could see at the estimate, such as soft or wet ground, buried debris, roots or old concrete thicker than expected, we stop and talk with you before doing extra work. Changes you ask for and extra work you approve are put in writing, with the added cost, before we do them.

Any price information on this site is general and isn't a quote for your job.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a start date once you accept the estimate. Concrete depends on the weather, so rain, storms or extreme heat can push back a pour, and we'd rather move the date than pour in conditions that leave you with a weak slab.

Delays caused by weather, material supply, permits, inspections or other things outside our control aren't a breach of our agreement. We'll keep you posted and set a new date as soon as we can.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (813) 471-5890 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials, had concrete sent out or done prep work, you may owe for those costs, as your contract will spell out.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything buried there that you know of, like sprinkler lines, septic parts or private wiring, because these don't always show up before we dig. You're also responsible for knowing where your property lines are and for any HOA approval the job needs.

Your contract will say who gets any permit the job needs. Where that's your responsibility, the permit has to be in place before we start.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens enough to take weight. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk and drive on it, and damage from using it sooner, or from cars, equipment, pets or sprinklers on it early, isn't covered.

Payment

Your estimate or contract states the payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

Overdue balances may carry late charges as allowed under Florida law, and you'll owe the reasonable costs we pay to collect them.

Warranties and normal concrete behavior

Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract, and it covers only what it names. Beyond that written warranty, our work and this website are provided without any other warranty, express or implied, to the extent Florida law allows.

Concrete can crack even when it's built right. We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, so most cracks follow those lines, and hairline cracks, small color differences between pours and minor surface variation are normal, not defects.

The warranty doesn't cover damage from ground we didn't prepare, tree roots, flooding, water from gutters or downspouts, chemicals, overloading, or repairs and changes made by others.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Good Form Riverview Concrete Company isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of this website or from our work, such as lost use of a driveway or lost income. Our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We try to keep this site accurate, but information here may be incomplete or out of date, so please don't rely on it in place of an estimate for your property. Links to other websites are there for convenience, and we aren't responsible for what those sites say.

Settling a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us first at (813) 471-5890 or reach us through our Contact page, because most problems get fixed faster with a visit to the job than with paperwork.

If we can't work it out, either of us may bring a claim in the state or county courts serving Hillsborough County, Florida, and you agree that those courts have jurisdiction.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you sign your contract applies to that job, and the current version applies to your use of the website.
